JPHein Consulting has created a software / hardware bundle (boXen) for use in business applications. While continuing to offer Integrated Technology consulting, the company is building, selling, installing and maintaining this product. boXen are unique computer systems customized to meet client requirements, including network adaptations and specialized business management software. The systems feature a breakthrough concept in technology use that fully utilizes available resources. boXen servers and workstations are inexpensive, power and space efficient, attractive, and silent.

With a boXen system, multiple users can securely log in using their personal profiles from any computer in the office or home, and from anywhere be able to access their personal desktop, programs, and documents, and share with others. Users can also remotely access their personal desktops online, from anywhere in the world.

Image Owners Jeffrey and Shawna Hein are twins born and raised in Nevada County, the children of two successful small business owners. Shawna holds a BA in Computer Science from Oberlin College, and is currently a Master's student at the School of Information at University of California, Berkeley. Jeffrey has been working on independent computer projects for most of his life, and sees JPHein as an organic end result of his efforts to design sensible, user-friendly systems.
