a) Tech Installation If the Client purchases equipment from the Provider, the Provider will: - Deliver the equipment (the Client shall pay the appropriate shipping fee)
- Setup the hardware
- Install the software
- Configure the network (if applicable)
Setup of software is free, but there will be a fee of $80 per hour for setup of equipment.
b) Domain Registration:
Initial domain name acquisition shall be performed by the Provider as specified below in the preferred domain name listing. This listing shall be presented and listed in this contract in the order of the Client’s preference. The first available domain name in the order of the Client’s preference shall be registered to the Client. There is no charge for the initial setup of said domain name, however, the Client agrees to pay an "Annual Domain Fee" of $10. In the event that none of the listed preferred domain names might be purchased, then an alternate domain name designated and approved by the Client shall be purchased. c) Hosting Services
The Client may purchase an all-in-one network appliance (boXen Brain™) from the Provider. This appliance allows the Client to host their own site within their own office, with full network services.
Alternatively, the Provider may host the Site at the Client's request, and will set up hosting service free of charge. However, the Client agrees to pay an "Annual Hosting Fee" of $150. This fee shall be pro-rated, and will be included in the initial site setup fees. Thereafter, the Annual Hosting Fee will be paid by the Client to the Provider on January 1st of each year.
d) boXen™ System Maintenance
If the Client purchases a boXen™ system from the Provider, the Provider will thereafter provide free software and kernel updates as needed. Further professional maintenance may be purchased by the Client through an annual contract, monthly contract, or by the hour. Long-term maintenance contracts are available and recommended. This includes on-site replacement and repair, remote maintenance, and upgrades.
The hourly maintenance rate shall be $80. Long-term contracts will be negotiated. e) Training
The Provider will provide training for all products and services. Training services shall be charged by the hour ($80 per hour), by monthly contract, or by annual contract.
Training services include:
- Instruction in how to use boXen™ website management software, including:
- Content Entry
- User Administration
- Add and Remove Modules
- Project Management
- ...and more.
- Instruction in how to use boXen™ hardware, including:
- boXen™ Brain (server)
- boXen™ Baby (thinclient workstation)
- boXen™ Spirit (mobile thinclient workstation)
- Other assorted boXen™ accessories
f) Data Migration
The Client may request data migration, in which the Provider will transfer old data into the new boXen™ system.
Data migration will be charged by the hour ($80/hour).
g) Content Entry
The Client may request content entry services in order to upload their information into the new boXen™ system.
Content entry services will be charged by the hour ($80/hour), by monthly contract, or by annual contract.
h) IT Consulting
Professional IT Consulting is available to the Client for sound advice on how to integrate helpful technology into their business, what products to buy, and how to automate and outsource work.
IT Consulting services will be charged by the hour ($80/hour), by monthly contract, or by annual contract.
i) Template and Software Customization
Customization of the Client's boXen™ webpage is available. The Provider will create a custom Joomla!™ web template according to the Client's description for an hourly fee of $80.
Customization of the Client's boXen™ software is also available for an hourly fee of $80, including:
- Applying business logos, colors, and themes
- Increasing functionality of your programs to fit your specific business needs
- Creating custom modules to serve specific business needs beyond the capabilities of the basic boXen™ package
j) SSL Certification
Secure Socket Layer Certification is available to protect the Client's data during transfer over the Internet. The Provider will register the Client with a trusted security registrar, and will setup and install the Client's personal SSL Security Certificate.
If the Client is hosting their own site with a purchased boXen™ system, SSL Certification is free of charge, except for an initial setup fee of $80.
If the Client's site is hosted by the Provider, an annual fee of $25 per year will be charged, and the setup fee shall be waived. k) Broadband Internet Service and Installation
Upon the Client's request, the Provider will check to see if any of the 7 types of broadband internet (optical, frame-relay, DSL, cable, wireless, satellite, or cellular) are available to the Client, and which would be best based upon the Client's needs and location. The Provider will: - Provide those within the Provider's region with broadband internet service
- Order broadband internet service for those Clients outside said region through their local providers.
- Install the best form of broadband internet for the Client
Fees for broadband internet setup and service vary, depending on the client's needs and location. A free quote of the Client's broadband fees will be provided upon request.
l) Google™ (Search Engine) Optimization
The Provider can perform Google™ (or other search engine) optimization to provide greater public Internet access to the Client's webpage and business information. Optimization includes: - Adding the Client's information into the search engine database (for a flat rate charge of $80)
- Going through the Client's website and adding keywords and descriptions (charged by the hour at $80 per hour or by contract)
