boXenlinux specializes in running a distributed, self-maintaining network of servers (brains), that utilize simple “Star Topology” load-balancing and redundancy. People access this environment by using the included thin client software, booting over the network/Internet/wireless, from a hard drive, CD, USB stick, windows, Linux, or Mac OSX.
By using VMware and Linux Virtual Server, boXenlinux thin clients can use other operating systems for user desktops like Windows XP, Mac OSX or Ubuntu desktop.
